A Short Long Few Weeks

Hello everybody! Sorry for the gap in my uploads. Hope you're all doing well.
I sometimes get myself really excited about getting stuff to the point where it appears in my dreams. When I was a kid I remember this happened one time in particular - my parents had promised that we were going to go to Toys R' Us to get me a Star Wars clone blaster. I had been playing Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 nonstop for months at that point, so this was a dream come true. I went to bed and saw what I wanted - a replica full-size clone blaster (the really long ones that they only use in episode 2) and a clone Shock Trooper helmet. I was in heaven. And then, I woke up.
This has happened again, and I'm writing about it because it's probably the dumbest fixation I've had in a while. After I watched Godzilla 2000 (which I believe was the last thing I wrote about. How time flies!) I've had the original g3 iMacs on my mind. I used to have one, a hand-me-down from my dad which was eventually lost when we moved houses, but I've always had a soft spot for them. They're so cute and simple, and the colors make them fun to look at.
I'm currently typing this on an eMac, the slightly updated, visually duller refresh of the iMac made around the same time as Apple started moving into their "white plastic" era. Functionally, it's exactly the same as any iMac g3 (except probably faster than sone of the really early ones) yet, I can't help but wish I had an iMac.
When I get like this it's super hard to break the habit of checking online listings to see if there's a cheap or easily available listing for what I want. This time I'm trying my hardest to abstain - I just do not need one - but it's tempting all the same.
The dream I had about the iMac happened last week, right at the peak of me thinking about them. In the dream, I was exploring my girlfriend's family's storage locker to help her clean it up. Nestled in the corner, functioning, was an iMac. I immediately poked and prodded it, made sure it booted up, wiped off the dust, the works. I'm pretty sure it was the blueberry color - the slightly deeper blue as opposed to the cyan blue of the first generation - and it ran like a charm. I loaded it in my car, prepped for the drive home, and woke up.
Better luck next time!
